The LP-S series laser marker, thrilling the automotive industry
Based on demands resulting from numerous discussions with various companies in the automotive industry, Panasonic developed the LP-S series laser marker. Now after several months of operation in the field, the feedback is excellent: the technical advances are fulfilling expectations for metal processing in the automotive industry.
Features such as the detachable optical fiber cable help simplify integration, the laser head’s IP67G degree of protection allows it to be used in harsh environments, and the laser’s high power and adjustable pulse cycle assure excellent marking results.

Panasonic's new latching DW relay
The DW relay was developed especially for digital, electronic smart meters. To save energy, a latching relay is necessary. The DW relay fulfills all demands of this market. Under the motto "eco ideas", Panasonic hence contributes to the development of efficient, energy-saving smart meters.
Besides the market for smart meters, in particular the switching of heater circuit-breakers, the DW relay is suited for many more applications.

Visualizing process data in the Web with Panasonic technology
To visualize data in the Internet, Panasonic now offers not only the necessary hardware (FP Web-Server with expansion unit) but also software fine-tuned to work with the hardware (FP Web-Designer, FP Web-Configurator).
Using the multifunctional FP Web-Server unit, you can access Panasonic PLCs via Ethernet networks (Internet, Intranet), exchange data bidirectionally, send data via e-mail or FTP, or display data on Web pages.

FPC connectors from Panasonic when space matters
Panasonic Electric Works' Y3 series FPC connectors are contributing to the miniaturization of various end devices. With a pitch of just 0.3mm and maximum height of 0.9mm, they are well suited for applications where space mattters.
The YF31 and YF32 series offer types with between 15 and 51 contacts, whereby the YF31 series with its side-mounting tabs lends itself especially for connecting flexible printed circuits (FPC). This guarantees that the FPC is correctly aligned inside the connector, thus preventing failures during the mounting process.
