The LP-S series laser marker, thrilling the automotive industry

Based on demands resulting from numerous discussions with various companies in the automotive industry, Panasonic developed the LP-S series laser marker.

Now after several months of operation in the field, the feedback is excellent: the technical advances are fulfilling expectations for metal processing in the automotive industry.
Features such as the detachable optical fiber cable help simplify integration, the laser head’s IP67G degree of protection allows it to be used in harsh environments, and the laser’s high power and adjustable pulse cycle assure excellent marking results.

In 1999 SUNX, which is now part of Panasonic Corporation, introduced the world's first fiber (FAYb) laser marker, advancing the field of laser marking technology tremendously. Now, after more than a decade of gathering know-how in the field and to meet new market expectations, Panasonic has again developed a new laser marker, the LP-S series, promising excellent results even for high-speed metal marking applications. To improve deep marking, the output power has been increased from 15W for the current model to 42W. Now deep marking and black marking can be performed on precision metal parts such as bearings and tools at high speed.

Laser head with IP67G degree of protection
A robust body, superior mechanical design and high quality components provide an IP67G degree of protection, which makes the LP-S series attractive and practical for automotive and metal applications. Moreover, the connector is water-, dust- and oil proof, and the lens is equipped with protective glass.

Removal mechanism for the industry's first fiber-optic connection cable
The unique design allows you to remove the fiber optic cable from the laser head, simplifying integration and service.

Configuration
You can set the marking parameters either with a handy touch panel or Windows software. Of course, password protection is included. Marking can be simulated with a visible red laser to check the marking, area and focus point. In addition, the software allows you to configure the laser marker offline, and while online, monitor the laser status or modify marking parameters.
