FP0R: Here at last!

Empowered by the success of FP0, we are now happy to introduce the FP0R, the next generation of FP0 ultra-compact PLCs. The FP0R offers more memory, higher processing speed, better security, complete compatibility with the FP0, a USB interface and much more. Best of all, the FP0R costs no more than the FP0, not a dollar, not a euro, not a yen!
A new family member
FP0R control units include the familiar product family members C10 /C14 (relay output) and C16/C32/T32 (transistor output), but have added the F32 with transistor output. The new F type controller contains a Flash-RAM that backs up all your data in case of a power outage. You never need to worry about replacing a battery again!
Higher processing speed
The ultra-high processing speed can reach 80ηs per basic instruction. That’s over 10 times faster than the FP0, so hold on!
Program capacity and comment memory
The programming capacity has been increased to 32k steps. Data memory can store 32k words. A comment memory stores or uploads the project file independently from the program itself, easing program handling and maintenance.
USB2.0 Tool port, program download in RUN mode
A mini USB2.0 Tool port is standard, providing fast program transfer. To maximize efficiency even more, you can even download programs to the FP0R in RUN mode.
Advanced positioning functions for more applications
All FP0R control units are equipped with 6-channel high-speed counters. In addition, the transistor output types offer 4-axis pulse outputs. Moreover, high-speed counters and pulse outputs can be used simultaneously, enabling synchronized operation.
For example, the FP0R is ideal for labeling machines: acceleration and deceleration times can be set individually. This makes it possible to start operation at a relatively low acceleration to prevent tape from breaking as well as stop operation at a high deceleration when the label end is detected, which saves tape.
Increased security protection
Prevent your programs from being copied by unauthorized persons by disabling program upload using our programming software. In addition, an 8-character password prevents anyone from making unauthorized program changes.
Fully compatible with FP0
FP0R control units have the same size, color, board layout, pin assignment and wiring as the FP0 control units. The FP0R can use existing FP0 programs without needing to change them, making replacement as simple as “plug and play”. Of course, the FP0R can use all FP0 expansion units.
